Terms and conditions Notabula
Last updated: 28 October 2026
These terms apply to the use of Notabula. Please read them carefully. If you have a question, email support@notabula.com.
1. Who we are
Notabula is a service of Riemersma, registered with the Netherlands Chamber of Commerce under number 96579153, located at Nijlânsdyk 145-D, 8931 GA Leeuwarden. You can reach us at support@notabula.com.
2. What Notabula is
Notabula is an online workspace. You store files, create documents, whiteboards, task boards and projects, and keep track of your hours. With a team you work together in a shared folder. What you put in your own workspace is visible only to you, unless you share it in a team.
3. Your account
- You must be 16 or older to create an account.
- You enter your own, correct details. An account is personal and you do not share it with others.
- You keep your password secret. If you notice that someone else is using your account, let us know straight away.
4. The trial
After signing up you can try Notabula for free for 14 days, with 1 GB of storage. You do not need to enter payment details. After the trial you can still view and download your work, but you cannot add anything until you choose a plan (see article 11).
5. Plans and prices
- The plans and prices are shown on the Notabula pricing page and on your subscription page. All prices are per month and include VAT.
- With the largest plan you can buy extra storage in blocks of 100 GB.
- If we change a price, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance. If you do not want to pay the new price, you can cancel before it takes effect.
6. Payment
- When you choose a plan, you pay the first month straight away with iDEAL. Your plan starts at that moment.
- After that you receive an invoice by email every month on the same day, with a payment link. That invoice is also the notice of the payment.
- You pay an invoice within 10 days. After 3 days we send a reminder if it is still open.
7. If you do not pay on time
If an invoice is still unpaid after the due date, your account becomes read-only: you can see your work and download it, but you cannot add or edit anything. As soon as you pay, everything works again. During that time we do not send new invoices.
8. Changing your plan
- If you choose a larger plan or more storage, you get the extra space straight away. The new price applies from your next invoice.
- If you choose a smaller plan or less storage, this takes effect at your next invoice. This is only possible if what you have stored fits in the smaller space.
9. Cancelling
- You can cancel any month with the button on your subscription page. You will receive a confirmation by email.
- Your plan continues until the end of the period you have already paid for. Until that date you can still undo the cancellation.
10. Withdrawal
You may withdraw from a paid plan within 14 days of its start without giving a reason. You can do this with the Withdraw button on your subscription page, or by sending us an email, for example with the form below.
When choosing a plan you ask us to start straight away. If you withdraw, you therefore only pay for the days you used the plan. You will get the rest back within 14 days of your withdrawal, on the account you paid with.
Model withdrawal form
To Riemersma, Nijlânsdyk 145-D, 8931 GA Leeuwarden, support@notabula.com: I hereby withdraw from my contract for the subscription to Notabula. Started on: [date] Name: [name] Email address of the account: [email address] Date: [date]
11. After the end of your trial or plan
- If your trial or plan has ended, or an invoice is open for too long, your account becomes read-only. You can then view and download everything.
- If you do not choose a plan within 90 days (or do not pay the open invoice), we delete your account with your own files, projects and hours. This cannot be undone afterwards. We warn you by email 30 and 7 days in advance.
- Teams you own remain for the other members. We may then appoint a member as the new owner.
12. Free access and codes
We may give free access, for example with a code. A code can be used once per account. Free access with an end date stops on that date; after that article 11 applies, unless you choose a plan.
13. Your content
- What you put in Notabula remains yours. We only use it to provide the service, for example to store and show your files.
- We do not look into your workspace. Our administrators cannot see the content of accounts either.
- You are responsible for what you store and share with others, and you make sure you have the right to do so.
- Keep your own copy of important files as well.
14. What is not allowed
You do not use Notabula to:
- store or share content that is prohibited, or that infringes the rights of others, such as copyright or privacy;
- spread viruses or other harmful software;
- disrupt the service or other users, for example by overloading the systems or trying to access someone else's account;
- resell the service to others.
If you use Notabula in a way that goes far beyond normal use, we will contact you first.
15. Reporting illegal content
If you see content in Notabula that you believe is prohibited, report it at support@notabula.com. Tell us what you think is wrong and where it is, for example with a link or the name of the team. We review every report. If the content is prohibited, we may block access to it or remove it. We let the reporter and the user concerned know what we decided and why. If you disagree, you can object at the same address.
16. If we block your account
If you do not comply with article 14, or use Notabula in a way that harms others or us, we may block your account (temporarily) or end the contract. We will tell you why. As a rule you can then still download your work, except content that is prohibited.
17. Availability
We do our best to keep Notabula easily accessible. Sometimes maintenance is needed or something goes wrong, so that Notabula is briefly unavailable.
18. Liability
If something goes wrong through our fault, we are liable up to the amount you paid for Notabula in the 12 months before. This limit does not apply if the damage is caused by intent or gross negligence on our part. Your statutory rights as a consumer always remain.
19. Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we will tell you at least 30 days in advance. If you do not agree with the new terms, you can cancel before they take effect.
20. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, email support@notabula.com. We will respond as soon as possible and look for a solution together with you. Dutch law applies to these terms. If we cannot resolve it together, a dispute may be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands.
